Taylor Swift is my all time favorite artist and she also has the most critical acclaim and musical repertoire. Swift is one of the most famous artists of our time and she continues to better herself and reach new heights with each new release. She's been nominated for over 40 Grammys and has won 11. She is the first woman ever to win Album of the Year 3 times.
Currently she is re-releasing her first 6 albums because of her master's being stolen. This amongst many other things have begun a change in conversation in the music industry about how artists are treated. She is one of the most influential artists of our time and continues to sell worldwide.
I can't recall when I first discovered Taylor Swift because she began releasing music when I was 4 but I vividly remember listening to Red when it was released and awaiting the release of 1989 in 7th grade. Nonetheless Swift is someone I didn't have to truly "discover" she was already making a name for herself when I began to find my music taste but she has stuck as one of my favorites.
