evermore is Swift's 9th album released in 2020 and contains 17 songs. Like folklore, evermore was another surpise album due to Swift, Antonoff, and Dessner continuing to write and produce songs following the previous release. folklore and evermore are referred to as sister albums because of their simliar sounds and close release. evermore was nominated for Album of the Year at 64th Grammys.
While the album is always compared to folklore and does not always get the same acclaim, evermore is still a beautiful and orginal album on its own. My favorite songs on the album are "gold rush", "right where you left me", and "ivy".
