Speak Now is Swift's 3rd album released in 2010 and it contains 14 songs. Every song on the album was written by Swift herself. It was nominated for Best Country Album and won Best Country Song and Solo for "Mean" at the 2012 Grammys. The album wasn't a complete departure from country but was the beginning of incorporation of pop in her songs.
Considering every song on the album was written by Swift it feels like a much more emotional album. It's the point in time when switchig from your teenage years to adulthood. On top of that Swift was truly becoming "a country star". My favorite songs on the album are "The Story of Us", "Innocent", and "Long Live".
