Phoebe Bridgers and Taylor Swift are two critically acclaimed singer-songwriters. Bridgers' has constantly praised Swift for inspiring her as an artist. Coincidentally Swift has referred to Bridgers as one of her favorite arists.
In 2021 Swift re-released her album Red (Taylor's Version) and announced Bridgers would be featured on the album. The now released song is called "Nothing New" and was met with high praise. It was a concern of many that Bridgers might only be backing vocals but in reality she had full verses on the song.
For many reasons, a lot of Bridgers and Swift's fans overlap. I wouldn't say they release the same type of music but they have a lot of similarities. You can find inspiration in Bridgers older lyrics that have a lot of the emotion Swift brought in albums like "Red" and "Speak Now". Also, Swift's albums "folklore" and "evermore" are a perfect match to Bridgers albums.
