For Emma, Forever Ago is a 2008 album by the band containing 9 songs. This is one of their most influential and popular albums. It includes the bands most notable song "Skinny Love". What introduced me to the band was Birdy's cover of Skinny Love in 2011.
My favorite songs on the album are "Blindsided" and "Re: Stacks" both of them have a very cinematic feel and I always include them in playlists when I am trying to have a relaxing or focused night.
While this is not my favorite album by the band it's an album filled with beautiful music. A lot of the songs that they create are abstract and you have to pick apart the pieces. Nothing is explicit told to you and you can find a connection to your own life in many of the songs.
