Once inside, Dawn's mom offers her a snack and asks about her day.
"My day was good mom," she lies, "and I'm not really hungry right now".
Dawn walks to her bedroom and shuts the door behind her. Her eyes start to sting and all of the sudden tears are flowing down her face and dripping onto her carpet. She drags herself into bed and tries to stay as silent as possible so she won't alert her mom.
"I don't get why everyone hates me,"" she whisper sobs to herself.
