Dawn panics and runs to her teacher and tells her what Gina said to her.
"Oh honey,"the teacher starts, "I'm sure it was just a misunderstanding, why don't I call Gina over right now to clear this up".
The teacher calls Gina over and asks her what actually happened.
"What? I never said that" says Gina with an overexaggerated sorry face. "I was just telling Dawn how good she was at the monkey bars".
"See Dawn,"" the teacher says, "you just misheard her, that's all. Now run along, we've only got 10 minutes of recess left."
Gina smiles at the teacher and then Dawn and runs away. Dawn slowly walks away, trying to process what just happened. "I want to go home" Dawn whispers to herself.
