Dawn and Mary are so happy that their desks got put next to each other in the new seating chart that the teacher drew out. They have been inseparable for the past year.
"Dawn, I'm so happy that we're friends,"" says Mary.
"Me too, Mary. You're my best friend,"" responds Dawn.
"I'm sorry for never sticking up for you. I was always just scared of Gina," Mary says empathetically.
"It's okay,"" Dawn says, "I was scared of her too.
