22, A Million was released in 2016 contanining 10 songs. This album came out after I had dedicated myself as a fan of the band. At first I was very hesitant with this album because it was another departure from their last. The sound was more electronic and rock rather than folk. Its use of the synth and brass instruments have continued to show up in future projects but it all started here.
The band had made a name for themselves with Bon Iver (2011) and took 5 years to release the next album. In no way did they lose a fan base or mass interest in their music. They were nomainted for Best Alternative Album at the 2017 Grammys. My favorite songs on the album are "715 -Creeks" and "00000 Million". 715 has always stuck out for me because it's my birthday (July 15th)
