Sage has always looked up to her father, he did everything for her and made her feel special. On a random Tuesday afternoon, Sage opened the cabinet to grab a glass and started to walk over to the refrigerator to get the container of juice. She loses her footing and the glass falls from her hand, shattering to pieces all over the kitchen floor. Sage hears her father run into the room. He stops short when he sees the glass shards surrounding his daughter. He takes a deep breath and then immediately begins to yell at her, blaming her for dropping the glass on the floor. Sage stands there having nowhere to go because the shards of glass are in her path. Tears start to fall, she does not understand what she did wrong because it was an accident. Her father points up the stairs and tells her to go think about what she did. This is the first time her father ever made her deeply afraid of him.
