You start to join in making fun go the people you called your friends for so long. You tell yourself it's okay and that they will understand. They would do the same if they were sitting here right?
They suddenly start talking quietly as Evan nears your table with his food. One of them looks to you and tells you to trip him in front of everyone. Another says you can hang out with them after school if you also pour your milk on his head.
You debate if you should really do this but, as Evan nears, you decide it's worth it and trip him. His face bangs into his plate of mashed potatoes. They hold out your opened milk and you poor it on his head focusing on how everyone is laughing.
Laughter is good.
It means people enjoy what you're doing. You did this to be liked more, to feel powerful. Evan looks up at you and you can't help but join in laughing. He runs away as your new friends call him a weakling. You sit back down as they all congratulate you and post the newest stunt they've done.
