When you arrive inside the kingdom you see many terrified people. If they leave their homes (which few do) they try their best to stay under cover. You ask one of the people why they scurry about in such manner and they tell you of the terrifying monsters terrorizing their land. They explain how every night three monsters come down from the mountains above them and slaughter anyone not under cover. You ask if the kingdom has ever attempted to fight back against these monsters. He says they had never thought of it, that they simple lived in fear. You realize that your options are to go back to the tunnel, Help the Kingdom or go back to Landelia for help.
