4th Floor Nugent
by Sara Ann Levine

You go upstairs to get books from your locker and suddenly your senses are assaulted with a myriad of stimuli.
First, the drum from the modern class in N460 is way louder than it needs to be. You can practically feel your heart in sync with the beat.
Then, of course, the dance majors are walking through the hallways with their bare feet. Not only do they look ugly, but the nasty smell is burning your nose hair.
And if that wasn't bad enough, the musical theater majors are singing Christmas carols. Objectively, they sound good, but to you on this terrible day, they sound like a group of tone-deaf elves.
You would think that people would not sing Christmas carols in April, but anything is possible on the fourth floor of Nugent at Marymount Manhattan College.
