You hold back, waiting for your opponent's next move in a defensive position. They get up, kicking sand into your face, but you are far enough that you recover your sight quickly. A split second after you recover, you see your opponent in your face, with a diagonal slash. Luckily, as you were in a defensive position, you are able to just counter the slash, causing you both to clash blades again.
