Dawn's mom gently shakes her awake.
"Come on sweetie, it's time to get up" she says.
"Mommy my tummy hurts. Really bad" Dawn lies.
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. How about you start getting ready and if it still hurts by the time you're done we'll go from there".
Dawn trudges herself out of bed and doubles over like she's in serious pain. She continued her act until finally her mom said she didn't have to go.
She crawls back into bed.
