Dawn's mom is already waiting outside by the time the class gets to the dismissal area. A huge smile is spread across her face. Dawn loves how happy her mom gets to see her. It feels like she's the only one who is happy to see her nowadays.
"Hi honey!" Dawn's mom says. "Hi mommy!" Dawn replies back. She starts to walk towards her mom and hears Gina come up behind her.
"Bye Dawn!"" Gina exclaims with the biggest smile on her face and gives her a tight hug. Dawn is confused. Gina was just telling her how dumb she was at recess. Dawn doesnt say anything back and continues back to her mom.
"Look at you hon," her mom says, "she looks so sweet, I'm so glad that you're making friends."
