After deciding to becoming a detective, "Son" now believes that being a detective has been his true calling as he is able to provide more help to others than simply being a police officer. "Son" has been able to apply his skills learned from school and real-life experience to solve several cases. Immediately after deciding to become a detective, "Son" and "Mother" have hired a prosecutor to sue "Mother"'s ex-boss for sexual assault and harassment. The prosecutor was able to win the case and get the ex-boss sentenced to 25 years in jail. As a result of the case, "Son" was able to negotiate for "Father" to get his sentence dramatically reduced and will be released from jail within the week.
For "Mother", she believes she has found confidence within herself as she decided to attempt being a home-seller again which she has been able to do through her old realtor agent.
"Father" believes that going to jail will not be a major set back as he plans on finishing school and asking his contact at Ford Motors company for work after he graduates. Overall, each family member is quite satisfied with their current positions and hope that things continue to look up in the future.

The participants will continue on in their lives; however, you will not be the one deciding what they do, they will. It is unclear whether or not the participants will continue to be in their current emotional states in the future; however, these results will be analyzed further to establish whether or not "Project Butterfly" will be considered successful.
