Soon after "Mother" and "Father" decided to get a divorce, they receive news that "Son" has been killed on the line of duty attempting to protect a civilian.
"Son" died doing what he loved. As expected, "Mother" and "Father" endure the unimaginable as at moments "Father" blames himself for "Son"'s death for pushing him to become a police officer.
"Mother" has now been living at her sister's house with the children and is debating between what is best to do in this crisis. "Mother" has continued to go on dates with her boss, who has done
his best to comfort "Mother" and provided her with several days off from work so she can help her other children attempt to recover. "Mother" is very aware how much her ex-boyfriend has been helping,
but thinking about "Son" has caused her to remember her love for "Father". Now, it seems that "Mother" must decide
developing a relationship with her ex-boyfriend
