Did you know the Guggenheim Museum was designed by the famous architect, Frank Lloyd Wright? The museum was started by Solomon R.Guggenheim, a mining tycoon turned art collector. The museum opened in the year 1959 and attracted tourists with its bizarre appearance. It took architect Frank Lloyd Wright nearly 16 years to bring both his vision and Guggenheim's vision to life. Unfortunately, Wright died 6 months before the museum opened.
