He was in a fraternity, and that makes a lot of sense to you. He jokes that you're not like him. He thinks you're prudish, and he calls it heteronormative. You don't laugh audibly, because it came across as mean. You scoff internally, though, thinking about how strange it is to hear a frat bro say heteronormative. Frat bros are typically only good for beer pong and slipping roofies.
