Never Again

The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire, which claimed the lives of 146 young immigrant workers, would forever change the face of American history. Entirely preventable, the inhumane conditions that allowed for the fire epitomized the worst of corporate greed. The public outrage sparked by this event led to reforms in fire safety, factory safety, sanitation and employment rules for women and children still in effect today.
