Dance Class

It's Sunday. The day that all of the competition team meets to work on their dances.

This year Dawn is in a large production number and two small groups; one tap and one musical theater.

She gets put in the front and center of both dances.

As all of the girls take off their shoes to leave, Dawn overhears two of her classmates talking.

"I don't know why Dawn is in the front and not me. She doesn't even deserve to be in this group, I'm way better at tap than she is," one of them says. The other chimes in, "She's not talented enough to be on the team, I don't know why they let her in".

Dawn's heart sinks.
