You are 18 years old. This summer, you and a bunch of your friends are working at your childhood summer camp. One of your friends, Casey is very outgoing and has made friends with pretty much all of your coworkers. You and your other friends are also open to making new friends, but are generally more reserved. You all pretty much just hangout with each other outside of work, but socialize with other people during work.

One day, you and Casey are with your other friend sitting on their porch. Casey just finished telling you that the reason you don’t get invited to things by other coworkers is because of your anxiety and the fact that you didn’t do a good job establishing yourself away from the group

This really gets to you because your shyness is something you really don’t like about yourself and try to work on. You wanted this summer to be fun and stress-free, but now you’re in your head.

You break down and start to cry. You’re so mad at Casey for acting this way, and you want to call him out and tell him how you feel.
