You investigate.

You find Eric sitting in a hallway on his cellphone, waiting for the professor for his class to arrive. You call out to him and appraoch him, he nods to you in greeting as you come down the hallway.

You sit down next to him and go through the formalites of asking how he is; he responds and asks you the same question, to which you respond. You let a beat hang in the air before telling him that you noticed something weird between him and Thalia.

Eric lets out a huff, "Thalia plagirized my paper for our class."

You stared at Eric in shock.

"Yeah," Eric continued, "That's how I looked when our professor emailed me to talk in person and told me that I plagarized Thalia's paper. I'm fucking lucky because our professor is my advisor, and I've had her from freshman year. She said it's not a problem, but she's giving me until Friday to rewrite the whole thing."

This was crazy. Thinking about Thalia... not to be rude, but you did notice she was a bit... different, even from the beginning. But everyone has their issues, so who were you to judge? But there was a small part of you that went "Oh, I'm not really surprised she did that" when Eric told you.

But she wouldn't really have done that, would she?

Eric started getting up, saying he has to get into class now. You nodded and watched him walk into the classroom, followed by Thalia who came sprinting down the hallway.

Who do you believe?
