WAS IT LUCIA?

You get out of your paid uber to some rich neighborhood to meet with Lucia who has no idea you exist. Being in a completely new area, you walk super slow to feel out where you are. There are sounds of kids playing on a playground, so you follow the noise asking around to see where Lucia is. After getting 6 no answers, you get annoyed with all the noise and triple over a slide. A girl’s voice giggles, and you feel the ground searching for your stick which you can’t find.

“Are you looking for me?” a girl says. She hands you your stick and you hurry to grab it while picking yourself up off the floor.

“Lucia?” you say.

“That’s what the people call me” she firmly states.

You are finally off the ground and jump straight into asking her questions about her boyfriend leaving out the fact that he is missing. Lucia instantly gets defensive in her tone as if she did something. She runs off with you trying to run after her only to being in the street with cars beeping their horn which startles you. After walking out of the street, you hear a familiar voice yelling very loud calling Lucia’s name. It was Tom, your friend’s boss. You walked away fast so that he wouldn’t see you and tried hiding behind something so you wouldn’t get caught, but you could still hear their conversation. You began looking everywhere for your phone again. It wasn't in your bag or your clothing pockets. You lastly checked your coat pocket and boom, there it was. You hurry and press record.

“That girl, his close friend showed up at my job” Tom yells.

“She was just here too. You told me we would be fine, and no one would be lurking for information from us!” Lucia responded.

“That’s before I found out she was that close to him and wants to know what happened to him. Let’s go, we need to leave NOW”

Something was up with Lucia, and you had no idea that Tom knew her. You had to run before they found you snooping, so you followed the noise of the kids on the playground again and called you an uber. This was information that could help the police find out what happened to your friend. Do you go straight to the police or move on to your next suspect
