ROCKIN JAMMIN & STYLIN IN NYC

BY CLAIRE SCHULTZ

This map gives a little visual of the birth & growth of hiphop culture in New York City starting up in the Bronx. It shows you points where the pioneers and revolutionaries worked on the foundations of the now world wide phenomenom consisting of: DJing/MCing, dancing, and graffiti art. Some of these spots have been altered by time, but their great moments are kept alive and preserved through the internet and our memories.
