For this project, 4 locations were used. Within these four locations, four homeless encampments were demolished by the NYPD. Tossing people's only belongings into the trash, rendering them with absolutely nothing. These horrible acts were done by the new initiative put forth by mayor Eric Adams, saying that these acts were crucial for the city's recovery. Nevertheless, no one should have their homes/ belongings taken and thrown away by force. .
These Locations were at 62 Pike St, 57 Allen St, 6th Ave and 24 St, and lastly, E 9th st and Avenue B. Within these images, there is the image of what the camp would look like and a Qr code that can be scanned to see and fully envision how the camp would look like using AR.
