You decide to come back to the coffee shop the next day.

And the next day.

And the next day.

And so does the man.

And every day, you two have the same routine. He gets some food, feeds you, and you two play together. You get friendlier and friendlier each time he visits, and you start to look forward to your daily trip each day and remember you have it to look forward to on the harder days.

And one day, during your routine, he decides that you will now be a permanent part of his life instead of making this a stop out of his morning.
