Anxiety Simulator

You are a person who is 21 years old. Lately, you have been feeling really anxious. You don’t know why it is happening. Sometimes it seems to come randomly and other times it is triggered when you get stressed out. You figure that it would go away on its own so you haven’t gotten help for it. You are shy and sometimes have trouble interacting with new people. You have a small group of friends who care about you.

Today is your day off of work. So far you have spent the day relaxing at home and watching movies. It is currently 5:00 pm.

Your phone rings. It’s a text message from your best friend Casey.

Casey: Hey girl are you busy tonight?

You: Yea I’m super busy watching movies tonight in my pj’s

Casey: Sounds really exciting lol.

Casey: Why don’t you come over to my place tonight? I know it’s kind of last-minute but I’m throwing a small get-together. It would mean a lot if my best friend was there.
