I really wanted Thanksgiving to go well. She was still upset about missing the exit, citing my "constant attempts to make her look foolish." She stormed into my parents house muttering a "hello" and then refused to speak for the rest of the night. It was clear from that moment, thanksgiving was not going to go well.

My mom asked her to help out in the kitchen with the rest of us, but she declined. I walked up to my room to check on her and she immediately launched into a rant about how I've succeeded in making her look bad to my family. She demands I go to them and take back whatever I have told them and that I apologize to her for putting her in this position. I promise her I have told them nothing but good things and apologize for making her so upset.
