- Fenway Park is one of the most historical Major League Baseball Stadiums, as it is the oldest ballpark still in active use.
- The stadium first opened on April 20, 1912 after being built for a total of $650,000 by the Charles Logue Building Company.
- Seating capacity varies at Fenway due to a center field tarp being used during afternoon games to provide a backdrop for hitters. 37,221 fans can be seated at Fenway during day games and 37,673 can be seated during night games.
- Fenway is most famous for the left field wall that was built in 1934 called the “Green Monster”. It is 37-feet, two-inch high, and is 240 feet long.
