- The Rangers finished in last place in their division, while having the worst record in the American league and second worst in the entire MLB.
- Texas has not been to the postseason since 2016 when they lost to the Toronto Blue Jays in the best-of-five American League Division Series.
- The team did make it to the World Series in back to back years in 2010 and 2011, against the San Francisco Giants and the St. Louis Cardinals, respectively. However, the club has never been able to win a championship.

Globe Life Field
- Construction for the new Rangers stadium began on September 28, 2017 and was completed in less than 30 months by the Manhattan Construction Company, for a total cost of $1.2 billion.
- The stadium is able to seat 40,300 fans, and it features a 5.5 acre retractable roof that features clear roof panels allowing natural light into the ballpark when it is closed and a turf field due to issues with growing natural grass in retractable roof stadiums.
- The Texas Rangers also played their first ever game at Globe Life Field on July 24, 2020 and was the first ever neutral playing site during the World Series in response to COVID-19.
- Another fun fact is that with its new master agreement, the Rangers partnership with Arlington extends until January 1, 2054.
