• The Mariners ballpark officially opened on July 15, 1999 after more than five years of planning and construction. The final cost of the ballpark was $517 million, and the Mariners contributed more than $126 million themselves.

• The original name of the ballpark was Safeco Field in 1998, but it later became known as T-Mobile Park in January 2019
