Dodger Stadium
- Dodger Stadium was created by Emil Praeger and was constructed on September 17, 1959. The cost of the new ballpark was $23 million and was later open to the public on April 10, 1962, with a capacity of 56,000 fans.
- An interesting fact about Dodger Stadium is that in 1958, the city agreed to exchange 352 acres of land in Chavez Ravine to the Dodgers in exchange for the team to build a 50,000 seat stadium.
