- The Indians’ new ballpark opened on April 4, 1994 under the name Jacobs Field and lasted until it was changed to Progressive Field in 2007.
- Something that is unique to Progressive Field is the angled seating sections. The seats are angled 8 to 12 degrees, offering fans who sit in these sections a view of the middle of the field.
