Coors Field
- Coors Field was created by HOK and construction on the ballpark began October 16, 1992, after MLB awarded both Denver and Miami franchises back in June 1991. The stadium was later opened to the public on April 26, 1995 for a total cost $215 million. The staidum allows for up to 50,398 fans.
- Coors Field became the first baseball-only stadium in the National League built since Dodger Stadium in 1962.
- An interesting fact about Coors Field is that not only can the Rocky Mountains be seen from the stadium, but at an elevation of 5,200 feet, the stadium instantly became a hitters paradise as the thin air increases runs and home runs by 50 percent.
