The new apartment

Compared to the last move I went through back home in Cali, this move was a cakewalk. It was even a little fun. I was very happy for them. They were moving into a smaller more affordable place, with only one bedroom. I slept on a queen size mattress on the floor of their living room for the next month and a half, except for the first night when I got to sleep in their bedroom. That night my brother decided to stay up late putitng together ikea furniture. At 3 A.M I stormed out of the bedroom and told him he neded to stop because, even though I was trying my hardest, I couldn't sleep through the banging and Anastasia --- half awake --- watching the office I heard through the paper thin walls. Anastaisa thanked me the next morning. Up in Idaho my parents decided they would get their cabin tested for mold just to be careful. Thank god they did, because the test cameback with high levels of mold toxicity. So they ditched the place and took a road trip down the west coast, staying in airbnbs and hotels, till they finally made their way back down to Los Angeles. They told me they found a mold-free house to move into and even though I didn't want to leave my brother, I couldn't sleep on the floor of my brother's living room forever. So I flew back to L.A. to stay with my best friend Kya.
