Project Butterfly: Results

Results

After 6 months from choosing not to file for bankruptcy, the family's financial dilema has worsened as bills and payments add up. "Father" did attempt to get a management position at Ford Motors company and was able to get the job; however, the job is not enough to pay off the myriad bills. "Mother" continues to struggle to get more hours and the continuous stress has now caused her to get pains in her legs which makes it even more difficult to work long hours. "Father" blames himself for "Mother"'s pain and stress.
On a brighter note, "Son" has now graduated from Law School is now becoming a criminal defense lawyer, which he has expressed excitement towards doing; however, he has now discovered the true ordeal that his parents are currently in and now he is stressed and attempting to give a good deal of his earnings towards helping his parents. "Mother" and "Father" are both proud of "Son"; however, their current predicament has made it difficult for them to feel emotions other than stress and regret. Overall, the family do not enjoy their current positions and hope that the future will be kinder to them.

Project Butterfly Completed

The participants will continue on in their lives; however, you will not be the one deciding what they do, they will. It is unclear whether or not the participants will continue to be in their current emotional states in the future; however, these results will be analyzed further to establish whether or not "Project Butterfly" will be considered successful.
