Results

A year after "Mother"'s decision to go get dinner with her boss. "Mother" has been engaged to get married with her boss who helped her become a home-seller again prior to their engagement. "Mother" is quite happy being with her fiance; however, part of her wonders if she still has feelings for "Father". "Mother" believes these doubts will go away once she is married.
As for "Father", he has now graduated and was able to get a management position at Ford Motors company. Similar to "Mother", he continues to mull over whether or not divorce was the correct move, but he is satisfied with new career and gets to spend time with his children every so often.
"Son" has now graduated from Law School and is a criminal defense lawyer."Son" believes he has found what he was meant to do. "Son" has joined a local law firm and worked on a few cases where he was able to use his past to connect with the clients and use his new skills to find success with his cases.
In spite of this, "Son" continues to hope that his parents get back together and is attempting to get "Mother" to sue her fiance for sexual harassment, but she refuses to do so. Overall, each family member is satisfied with their states in life; however, they each hope that the future will be better.

The participants will continue on in their lives; however, you will not be the one deciding what they do, they will. It is unclear whether or not the participants will continue to be in their current emotional states in the future; however, these results will be analyzed further to establish whether or not "Project Butterfly" will be considered successful.
