A year after deciding to run for mayor, "Mother" had a large following and very successful campaign that almost got her the position.
However, rumors leaked that she slept with her boss for pleasure (most likely the ex-boss was the one who helped spark these rumors). As
a result, people lost faith in her and "Mother" lost the race. In spite of the loss, "Mother" continues to fight for women's rights and is a campaign
manager for other potential candidates that she supports.
As for "Father", he still has 2 years to serve, but with his good behavior he has a good chance of receiving parole in a few months. Both "Mother" and
"Father" are still grieving over "Son"'s death and are unsure if they will ever find true happiness again. At times they both cry themselves to sleep,
but "Mother" believes that they should be hopeful for things to come.

It is unclear whether or not the participants will continue to be in their current emotional states in the future; however, these results will be analyzed further to establish whether or not "Project Butterfly" will be considered successful.
