New York City. If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere. As a young 18 year old, I had dreams of coming to The City to accomplish the dreams that so many have. Working in TV was always something I had aspired to do and I have worked my ass off to get to. Interning is a time where we get to try out the career we want and learn as much as possible through the best int he business. While interning isn't glamorous, it is a time to start at the bottom and really discover who you want to grow into not only as employee, but also as a person. Let me take you on a journey to all the internships I have been able to accomplish while in school. If you had told young lex back in high school that she would have half of these incredible, life changing internships, I wouldn't believe you. From ABC to NBC, New York to LA, I have met some of the greatest people who taught me to not only work hard but also love what you do. As the saying goes, "Do what you love, and you'll never work another day in your life."
