TO: Detective Campbell FROM: A.N. Douglas, Forensics Officer DATE: December 17th, 2018 RE:Crime Scene Evidence Inventory MMC Homicide Investigation, Case # 003972-25K-2018
One the evening of Sunday, December 17th, 2018 a call to 911 was made with the following statement:
"Hello? Hi... yes... um... I would like to report some noise coming from my neighbors house. There was some screaming and loud banging. I am not sure what it was, but I thought it would be best to call someone. Please send someone fast. 10 Cliff Drive. Thank you."
Officers arrived on the scene a short two minutes later. Upon arrival, officers noticed there was a sign of struggle. The front door had been broken into. Glass was on the floor. Officers entered the house a found a body on the living room floor, unconscious and unresponsive.
The Victim was the resident of the house. At the scene of the crime, there were three pieces of evidence left. By the front door there was a left handed, red, glove. Inside, next to the victim was a pair of glasses. On the kitchen counter there was a bloodied axe, presumed to be the murder weapon.
