Issue 4: It is now the day of the show, and you currently in the theater preparing the unit for tech rehearsal. Prior to this you have already communicated with the head coordinator of the event to ensure that you had the stage for 45 minutes to run the set on the actual stage due to the capacity of your group. The head coordinator whom you spoke to, was not facilitating the run thru and apparently the student workers were not aware of the arrangement you had in place. In addition, there's a piano and big screen TV on the right side of stage that can potential be hazardous and ruin you choreographed formations. As president, you ask is there anyway to move it for your act and you get rude response from staff and student workers saying, "Nope, just work with it!"
In this moment your pissed off, and then 20 minutes in your allotted time student workers are demanding you to get off the stage. So you respond restating the agreement that you had with the coordinator of the event, and informing them that you will be staying on stage for the additional 25 minutes as originally arranged. Then, immediately turn your back to finish running the set! With 10 mins left the student works demanded that you to get off the stage. Honestly at this point the team is 75% solid which your aggravates your because they have been rude throughout the entire process, and the head event coordinator was nowhere to be found. Then you realize that one of your teammates missed the entire tech. There is a rule in place that if anyone misses tech then they can't perform, and especially since there is a piano and big screen tv which has forced you to rework formations.
What do you do in this moment?
